The three previous posts (charts of different developmental theories) really all fit under one developmental psychology umbrella. When used with each other, one can see how children’s brains are developing, how they view the world with their developing brain, how they consequently reason, and what their social dilemmas are. All of these are important when used together to help adults see the world through kids’ eyes and get a better idea of how they understand and what their life is like. It is also important to remember that kids are always developing cognitively, socially, and morally, and that educators have a crucial role in shaping the way they develop.
